Breaking ungodly soul ties

For the past year I found myself unable to stand near the energy field of a certain person. 

Every time I came near their energy I would end up feeling anxious, insecure, overwhelmed, I could literally feel their energy  hit my field, and then they started showing up in my dreams causing me to feel unsettled. 

I couldn’t understand what the hell was going on, it was totally bizarre. 

That was until recently a mentor of mine told me about soul ties and how there can be ungodly/toxic soul ties tying us to certain people, places and situations that can cause all manner of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual ailments or attacks. 

Soul ties are when two or more souls are binded together in the supernatural/spiritual realms and can influence each other's wellbeing if it’s been a toxic tie. 

They are common in people you’ve had intimate relationships with, they can also be between friends, family members, leaders, colleagues, etc.

Soul ties can be formed from previous toxic relationships or experiences in life or formed between two people who have matching trauma and wounds. These toxic soul ties can keep us feeling addicted to people, places and situations that ultimately hurt and harm our lives and hearts. 

For example, one sort of toxic soul tie that can play out is when you find yourself constantly being attracted to or ending up in unhealthy, unavailable, abusive relationships, the same pattern keeps repeating itself. It can at times feel like you’re attracting the same person just in a different body. 

Thankfully, these soul ties can be removed and dissolved.

Last week the Holy Spirit, and Jesus, took me through the process of healing and removing this toxic soul tie with this particular person and afterwards I found a sense of relief, peace and joy fill my heart and felt the energy shift to a more healthier and peaceful space. 

God, wants you to have peaceful, healthy, loving and wholesome relationships and experiences in life and does not want you to suffer or live in perpetual misery but when we have unresolved trauma and toxic soul ties that need cleaning up these things can hinder us from living in alignment and integrity with the love, peace, joy and healthy relationships and life our Creator desires for us. 

To help you in breaking toxic soul ties I invite you to utilise the following healing process - 

Step 1: 

You can say the following prayer first -

Holy Spirit of God, please reveal to me who I need to forgive and the toxic soul ties that I need to break agreement with so I may be set free to live in love, peace, joy, harmony and healthy relationships. 

Step 2: 

Write down who and what the Holy Spirit reveals to you uncensored. Don’t judge or condemn what comes through but allow God to reveal to you the soul ties that no longer serve and support you and the people you need to forgive. . 

Step 3: 

After you’ve written down who and what needs to be forgiven and who you’ve got a soul tie with (and it can be many), I then invite you to say the below prayer for each soul tie Holy Spirit revealed to you.  

Holy Spirit of God, in the name of Lord Jesus, I now break off, remove, renounce and make null void and obsolete all ungodly and toxic soul ties between me and (state persons name). I now forgive and set (state persons name) free from my entire heart, mind, body and spirit from any harm directly or indirectly they caused me (state what you are forgiving them for specifically) and I repent for any sin (state the sin/s) I committed with them or committed against (state persons name) and God. 

In Jesus’s Name, I muzzle, bind and remove all toxic ties and spirits I’ve taken on from this person or that I’ve given them. I break all agreements I’ve made with this person and set us both free to love and be loved in healthy and wholesome ways. I now call back all parts of my beautiful soul that I have given to this person and give back all parts of their soul to them that they gave to me, and break all agreements, contracts and pacts I made with them now. 

Lord Jesus, please severe, break off and remove all ungodly and toxic ties between myself and (state persons name), shut all doors on anything and everything that came through them into my life, Lord, and seal these doors with Your blood Jesus for all eternity. 

In Jesus’s name I declare myself set free from this ungodly and toxic soul tie and now move forward into a life of love, joy, peace, harmony, healthy and wholesome relationships and divine wellbeing.

In Jesus Name, Amen.  

You can say this prayer as many times as needed or required and you may wish to ask Holy Spirit if there are any items or things in your home and spaces that also need to be removed that continue to maintain ties between you and this person. 

I found after I went through this process it was revealed to me that this person held a soul tie for me in regards to toxic, unavailable and abusive relationships with men that needed to be healed and removed so my heart could be restored in God’s love. It was a soul tie that kept binding and attracting me to men who triggered wounds of unworthiness, unavailability, feeling unwanted, insecure, unlovable, unsafe, anxious, and not supported. 

Every person that comes into our lives that triggers us, upsets us, or who says and does hurtful things can be great teachers to show us the areas in our own hearts and lives that need to be healed and restored into the love and peace of God. 

God has high standards of you and therefore wants only the best for you and continually seeks to heal and set you free from the toxic binds of the past and from people who were and are not healthy for you. 

For there is no wound God in the form of Jesus cannot heal. 

Call on Him and allow His love to heal and restore you.
